Every year two test series are conducted in the month of December/January depending upon the length of syllabi finished or exam schedule of final year students. The schedule for the first test series is announced in advance while the second test series schedule is kept secret in order to check students’ preparation for surprise tests and assess how well they do. The test series is followed by a Model GATE question paper. It is planned to test the overall preparation of student with respect to application of theory, numerical, and formulae etc.
